I started working for Flannels 4 years ago when on my placement year at university studying International Fashion Marketing.

Within my the year I watched flannels.com grow considerably and to be a part of that growth was incredibly exciting. The skills that I learnt in my placement were invaluable and contributed to me achieving a first class honours which is to date one of my biggest achievements.

When I graduated I had the opportunity to join Flannels full time as an Ecommerce Assistant, I knew from my placement year that Flannels was where I wanted to start my career.

I have since been a Content developer for the website and more recently been promoted to Ecommerce Executive. To develop with such a prestigious and reputable company has been an incredible journey and I can’t wait to continue contributing to the company’s growth.

When asked where I work, I answer with pride and say Flannels!

I joined the company in September 2007; Flannels has not only changed who I am it has changed my life. I belong to a company were my opinions count, my comments are taken seriously and my contribution is valued. It's a company where development is a key factor.

After being interviewed and inspired by the founder of the company Neil Prosser I decided to leave the job I had been employed in for the past twenty seven years. I had worked for one of the most successful retailers on the high street before joining Flannels and for those twenty seven years I grew and developed within that company.

Moving to Flannels, a company where pride is based on exceeding customers expectations and delivering outstanding customer service is in a different league to our competitors. Being surrounded by and able to sell the most desired high end brands made me want to change my career.

Seven years down the line, and a Customer Care and Service Award under my belt, I have built a large high profile client base. These clients are not just customers, they have become good friends. This makes my job more enjoyable.

There is always room for progression. I joined as the ladieswear manager 7 years ago. I have progressed and become one of the top twenty sales people in the company consistently delivering the best service and exceeding my clients expectations, I have been assisting the Ladieswear Buyer on the European buying trips for the past two years in Milan, Paris, London and Florence!

I believe that passion, desire and commitment are what's needed to succeed in this job role.

Working for The Flannels Group means being a part of well oiled machinery with over 30 years of expertise in delivering exceptional customer service.

I started my career within the company as an Assistant Manager at LiFE and recently progressed to the Store Manager position.

The prime objective of my role is to reach sales targets and increase profitability of the LiFE store. However, this would not be possible without values such as great knowledge and passion to deliver an outstanding level of customer service, which are shared by each and every Team Member. You can never forget that the manager is only as good as his team.

I have freedom to create, improvise and be entrepreneurial. I love having the freedom to experiment and fail, and still support my actions. Everyday is different I get to interact with such a varied group. It means I am always learning.
