Last Thursday, Manchester’s most stylish men and women headed out to celebrate Vogue Fashion’s Night Out arriving in the city. As these fashion-conscious individuals sipped cocktails, browsed the store and chatted to Matthew Williamson, our photographers were capturing the best dressed on the night.

What were the key trends seen on the night?

There was an explosion of prints – with animal print, checks and polka dots prominent as the main trends of the evening. These bold prints weren’t reserved for the women in the crowd – with the gents sporting statement leopard print scarves and even an eye-catching kilt. The jacket of choice was this season’s take on the classic leather biker, worn with both feminine dresses and vibrantly patterned trousers. Model-off-duty nonchalant black looks were seen amongst attention grabbing accessories and high-fashion styles. The girls all carried their favourite designer totes whilst the statement piece for the men in the crowd seemed to be outerwear. Suave sartorial three-piece suits were seen next to stylish slogan T-shirts seemingly inspired by the official FNO uniform worn by the Vogue team.
