AT FLANNELS: PC Williams and Olivier Geraghty in conversation with Jason Dike

Welcome to AT FLANNELS - a new series dedicated to shining a light on creativity and culture across the UK.

Filmed AT FLANNELS London, our first episode debuts in Black History Month with fashion journalist Jason Dike in conversation with creative director Oliver Geraghty and Stylist PC Williams, as the duo discusses what set them on their creative paths and what their visions are for the future.

PC Williams’ work as a stylist has seen her collaborate with the likes of Stormzy, as well as become a lecturer at the world-famous Central St. Martins. She’s styled footballers like Jadon Sancho and worked on music videos like Jacob Banks’ Stranger, bringing her unique perspective and lived experience to everything she does.
Taking influence from her Nigerian-Guyanese household, Williams takes special pride in her work at Central St. Martins and what her culture brings to the hallowed halls of the most famous fashion school in the world.

Olivier Geraghty’s career started in front of the camera, being scouted as a model while he was training to be an architect. Following a successful career, he eventually pivoted to behind the camera, becoming a creative director and founding his own studio.
Influenced by his parents' love for the jazz greats, Geraghty seeps these influences into his work, creating large-scale installations for some of the world’s most famous brands. His successful career has also led him to become a mentor to the younger generation, helping them see the paths that he himself might not have necessarily been aware of during his youth.

Williams and Geraghty have known each other for some years, having both traversed London’s creative scene, proudly bringing their personal experiences into their work.

Their friendship sees them share the travails of being Black in an industry that still views that as an anomaly and unites them in their shared hopes for the next generation of creatives.
