SKI SEASON:

SKIWEAR TO HIT THE SLOPES IN

Paragraph

WORDS: MARNI ROSE MCFALL

Ski season, we missed you. That’s right, it’s finally time to hit the slopes again. And we’re going big. Think larger-than-life snow boots, quilted ski sweatpants and head-to-toe ski suits that’ll look just as good on the slopes as they will at the après ski and back at home. From Mackage to Moncler Grenoble, this is the skiwear to invest in this season.

SKI JACKET

1. BEST SKI JACKETS

The starting point for any ski look? A puffed-up ski jacket. Fusalp got the monochrome memo with the Delphine Jacket which is a total white-out. Goldbergh’s Snowman Jacket in a pop of pink is the Barbiecore take on skiwear we didn’t know we needed (see Lindsay Lohan in Falling For Christmas for more proof). Perfect Moment have gone big with their bright blue Polat jacket, while adidas by Stella McCartney is bringing ultra-loud prints to the slopes. And if you want to keep things classic, opt for Goldbergh’s blacked-out Hida Jacket.

SKI LAYERS

2. BEST SKI LAYERS

Just as important as what’s on the outside, your inner layers are key to keeping warm and looking good when you hit the après ski. lululemon’s Wunder Train Cropped Shirt is on-trend enough to wear when there’s no longer a slope in sight, as is their endlessly flattering Define Jacket. The ultimate ski staple, Perfect Moment’s Schild Sweater, is a must for your trip, if only for the IG post. lululemon’s cult Align High Rise leggings are crafted in a tight-fitted construction, so they’re guaranteed to stay firmly in place, and they have a hidden pocket. It’s a girl’s dream.

Best ski suits

3. BEST SKI SUITS

Want to avoid any unfortunate snow moments? Add an all-in-one ski suit to your list. Fusalp's Maria Ski Suit is the perfect design. Coming up over the shoulders, it’ll keep your trousers well and truly in place. While Goldbergh’s Snowball suit covers you from your ankles right up to your chin. Snug.

BEST SKI BOTTOMS

1. BEST SKI BOTTOMS

This season, practical style is continuing to reign supreme. Case in point? These ski pants. Adidas by Stella McCartney have raised the slopes with their insulated ski trousers, which work just as well off the slopes as they will on. Perfect Moment have nailed that vintage sporty chic aesthetic with the Isola Racing Pants and Goldbergh’s Pippa Pants have taken après ski antics to a whole new level.

1. BEST SKI ACCESSORIES

Ski accessories are having a major moment (whether you’re going skiing or not). Starting with luxe ski goggles. Top of our list? Goldbergh’s Golden Ski Goggles. In the market for a winter warmer? Vivienne Westwood's black wool Balaclava has all bases covered thanks to the ribbed knit construction that keeps the fabric close to the neck for added warmth. Varley’s chunky grey ribbed beanie, which has been crafted from super soft Merino Wool, is simple, chic and will see you well through the winter. On your feet? OTT snow boots from Moon Boot, obv.
