Style Advisor: Swimwear For The Street

While our holidays might not be going ahead as planned, our determination to slip into some swimwear this summer is still going strong. Luckily, our favourite designers had the same idea, creating hot one-pieces and seriously cool separates that work just as well on a lounger as they do on the street. Pair with your denim, go head-to-toe or dress up with high-waisted pieces for the ultimate evening look.

Crochet found its cool again this season, decorating everything from crop tops to hats, but it’s this ’60s-style mini dress from Cult Gaia that’s caught our eye. Large circles create a perfect see-through design, meaning you can put your very best swimwear on display. Top of our list? The Attico’s bikini in the print of the season: zebra.

Swim skirts are having a bit of a moment, thanks to their constant appearance on our Instagram feeds. The Attico are ahead of the pack, with this clever lycra mini that can be worn in – and out – of the water. Pair with chunky wrap-around sandals and heavy gold earrings post dip.

Our burning desire to return to the days of disco aren’t going anywhere fast. LA’s hottest denim brand Frame have created just the jean for the occasion: loose-fit, light-wash and finished with cool twisted seams, which will take your signature Reina Olga swimsuit straight to the street.

Who said you had to be at a beach bar to wear your swimsuit to dinner? Zimmerman have created the chicest of one-pieces, finished off with a subtle brown buckle. Add a high-waisted skirt with a cut-to-the-thigh slit, heels and a chunky gold necklace to finish the look.
