It’s been hard to miss the influx of cherry reds this season. Juicy, glossy, decadent, they’ve become a low-key way to add a pop of something to outfits, whether worn on the nails, the lips or on your accessories. Leading the way with the hue for AW24? Gucci. Who’ve dipped their leather jackets, knits, mules and even slippers in the shade. But for party season? It’s the GG Supreme Debossed Jacket and Marmont Mini 20 we’re adopting. Miu Miu and Mugler are hot on their heels with slingbacks and mini dresses in the shade.

Black and baby pink might not be your usual colour combination, but Prada is here to make you reconsider. Adding black accessories – think boots, bags and bows – toughens the pink up, stopping it from looking saccharine; necessary when the pink thing in mind is an ultra girly midi dress adorned with bows. Prada’s Sablé dress has had us all in a frenzy since Kylie Jenner appeared in the piece in her debut British Vogue cover shoot, defining itself as the It-girl party dress of the season.

Silky little slip dresses? Yes, please. This party season, we’re channelling the ‘90s with a host of slinky dresses up for grabs. Top of the wish list? Saint Laurent’s ultra-chic white maxi dress - made for party angels. If you prefer yours with a hit of colour, Sir The Label’s Serene Slip comes in a soft yellowy cream, covered in big bold florals. And for the mini dress lovers amongst us, Jacquemus has nailed the brief with a forest green design that feels perfectly festive.
