Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3

Product description

Crystal Retinal is a cult-favourite advanced anti-ageing serum which takes vitamin A to new age-defying heights. Crafted with stabilised retinaldehyde (retinal), a next-generation form of vitamin A. Not to be confused with classic form retinol, retinaldehyde has been proven in multiple scientific studies to have improved efficacy compared to retinol, without any additional irritation potential.[1][2]

With results comparable to clinical-grade vitamin A, retinal has been demonstrated to work up to 11 times faster than retinol.[3] Stabilised using crystal encapsulation and a patent pending carrot seed complex, this targeted overnight serum visibly minimises fine lines and wrinkles; helping to even out the appearance of skin texture and create a more youthful-looking complexion. The vitamin A is time-released slowly into the skin throughout the night, for minimal irritation potential.

Hyaluronic acid and glycerin work together to draw moisture to every level of the skin, leaving the complexion hydrated and visibly supple. In addition to targeting signs of ageing, Crystal Retinal helps to minimise blemish-causing bacteria, promoting a flawless-looking complexion.[4]

Medik8 offer progressive concentrations of Crystal Retinal products which form the Medik8 Crystal Retinal Ladder. Crystal Retinal 3, containing 0.03% retinaldehyde, is the ideal starting point for most users.

Medik8 recommend a simple anti-ageing strategy with effective, proven results: vitamin C and sunscreen in the morning, vitamin A at night. This strategy is called: CSA.
