THE CREATION Created by Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauty, the Trait d’Hermès collection of color pencils offers a wide range of expressive possibilities for the lips. The easy-to-apply, long-wear pencils can be used to delineate, define and enhance the lip contour or naturally shade the lips.
THE COLOR These 16 emblematic, surprising and timeless colors are designed to match all the shades in the Rouge Hermès collection perfectly.
THE PRODUCT Creamy and comfortable, the matte-finish pencil glides onto the lips in a single stroke. The line may be precise or blended.
THE FORMULA The formula delivers intense, long-wear color. THE OBJECT Designed by Pierre Hardy, the pencil is inspired by the obstacle bars used in show-jumping competitions, with its black and white lacquer and brushed metal. Like the coloured pencils we remember from childhood, it is made of wood – sourced from PEFC-certified* forests – and has a built-in smudger. Its brushed metal cap is adorned with the house’s emblematic H.
THE GESTURE The color can be applied in a single stroke, to delineate, define and enhance the contours of the lips, or to color them. The pencil is ideal for creating a tone-on-tone or contrasting look, for an ombré effect when combined with a balm or an Hermèsistible, or to prolong the hold of a Rouge Hermès lipstick.
