STEP 1: Skin
Keeping the skin matte using Dior Forever Natural Nude Foundation and translucent powder, the focus was on the cheeks and eyes. “I buffed in blusher, but I used it higher than where you’d usually put blush. I kind of washed it over the eyelids and really high on the cheekbone and down,” says Sinnott.
“It’s called draping. It’s actually quite ‘70s. You’d usually do blusher in the centre of your cheeks, but it’s nice to merge it into the eyes as well, so it feels very diffused.”
STEP 2: Lips for Eyes
The main attraction? Lip-prints stencilled onto the eye and temple for an avant-garde look. “I did them with the M.A.C Locked Kiss Lip Paint in Gossip… by basically cutting out this plastic. I applied the lipstick to her and then she kissed it and then I transferred it onto her face.” Sounds straightforward enough.
We’re switching up bridal makeup with ‘70s style blush, juicy stained lips and statement face art.
STEP 3: Highlight
Finish the look with a pink-toned highlighter (Sinnott opted for Pat McGrath Labs) on the cheekbones, cupid’s bow and on the tip of the nose for added dimension and texture.
